Who Made My Jewellery?

Fashion Revolution is a global movement sparked by the devastating Rana Plaza building collapse on 24th April 2013 in Bangladesh. 1,138 people died. 2,500 people were injured. It was the fourth largest industrial disaster in history. Fashion Revolution Week is a week long discussion of the ethics of fashion, demanding for more transparency and calling for a fairer, safer, and cleaner industry. People and the environment are suffering as a result of the way fashion is produced, sourced, and consumed. Happy Shipping: How We've Made Our Delivery Cheaper

We know shipping costs are a pain point for everyone and yet another hurdle to jump over when making a purchase online. But it doesn’t have to be. Over the past few weeks we’ve been working on overhauling our shipping structure to find a better solution. We’d love to offer free shipping but it’s an impossibility. Thinking Sideways Devin, Joe, and Steve investigate things we simply don’t have the answer to. They discuss unsolved mysteries, conspiracy theories, horrific suicides, bloody murders, ghost stories, and unexplained sightings. TED Radio Hour Based on the TED Talks idea; each podcast centres around common themes exploring fascinating ideas, astonishing inventions, fresh approaches to old problems, and new ways to think and create. Last Name Basis A sometimes regular podcast hosted by a married couple, internet personality and actress Francesca and lawyer Patrick, who...

If you'd like to know more about how it all began, read our backstory. I also wrote a post on my personal blog about how I quit my day job to run OMCH full time. Today I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past few years and share with you a few things I have learned about running a business. 1 | Do Things Differently You’ve got to want to change the world. Every market is oversaturated, there will be plenty of people already far ahead and plenty more...

Studio Photo Tour

The OMCH studio and workshop is in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. The Spectacle Works is a Grade II listed building with beautiful windows, open spaces, and lots of natural light. The studio is decorated minimally to create a peaceful atmosphere to work in; it's surrounded by the oldest cemetery in Birmingham, which is the perfect place for a lunch time walk. We tackle your orders from the home office, shoot photography in the studio, and make jewellery in our workshop. Enjoy this little peek into our workspace, we hope you love it as much as we do.
